I was recently invited to write for the section Pillar Corner of the Flipped Learning Network’s newsletter. Thinking about only one pillar, and only one indicator was pretty difficult, but I chose the first indicator in the third pillar, Learning Culture.
L1. I create activities for students to practice without the teacher being central.
I find the whole idea of relinquishing control very interesting and it has become one of the most important features in my teaching. So much that some students have even said that “I don’t do my job!”. I invite you to explore my article and I would very much appreciate your comments!
